Some people self-medicate and use street drugs when they have undiagnosed ADHD. It is probably better to get people on regulated drugs, monitored by a doctor. Coffee can be helpful too.

My brother-in-law is on dialysis. He had high blood pressure, was overweight, and was under pressure personally and at work. He did not address any of those issues, and when he first got symptoms, did not go to a doctor. Finally he was taken to a hopital by ambulance.
